CMUNC intends to be a conference primarily focused on educating students and cultivating a passion for international affairs. Winning an award can be one of the most rewarding experiences for delegates as it rewards all of their hard work leading up to a conference. Information about CMUNC awards can be seen below:
Individual Awards: There are four types of individual awards:
Best Delegate
Outstanding Delegate
Honorable Mention
Verbal Commendation (note: CMUNC will award three Verbal Commendations in General Assemblies, two in Specialized Agencies, and one in Crisis Committees).
These awards will be offered in every committee as outlined above.
Award criteria is based on productivity within committee (quality of speeches, contribution to resolutions, ability to collaborate, etc.) and professionalism in conduct throughout the conference. Should you have any questions about CMUNC awards, please contact the Secretary-General.
Delegation Awards: There are two types of delegation awards: Best and Outstanding. Each award is given to a “small” delegation and a “large” delegation. These numbers are determined by median delegation size and awards are given based on the success of individual delegates.
