Farhan Choudhury
Farhan Choudhury is a senior studying Economics and Mathematics from Washington D.C. When not stressing over his math problem sets, studying for his next midterm, or studying Bengali, he can be found exploring Ithaca’s (admittedly small) food scene, brewing coffee and practicing his latte art, or watching/living/breathing football. He has also been doing MUN since middle school and has loved it ever since. He is looking forward to a wonderful, educational, and fun conference experience, and can’t wait to meet you all at CMUNC! Akshika Chawade
Akshika Chawade is a junior from Boston, MA, in the College of Engineering studying Computer Science with a minor in Business. Along with CMUNC, she is a software developer for Engineers Without Borders and a machine learning researcher for American Express. She is also a mentor for Girls Who Code, a member of Women in Computing at Cornell, and the Events Chair of the Society for India. She has been involved with MUN for 7 years and counting! Outside of academics and extracurriculars, she loves playing badminton, exploring new places, and hanging out with friends. Mimi Zannetos
Mimi Zannetos is a senior from Westchester, NY, in Cornell’s ILR School, majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations, with minors in Law and Society and Inequality Studies. Outside of CMUNC, she is part of Cornell’s premier business ethics club, A Seat at the Table, Cornell’s ski and snowboard club, and works at the Cornell Store (make sure to stop by outside of committee session!). A fun fact about Mimi is that she is from a town that is exactly one square mile. Mimi is eager to make your CMUNC experience enjoyable and educational as Chief of Staff. Maïté Sadeh
Maïté Sadeh is a senior from Pittsburgh, PA studying Information Science in the College of Arts and Sciences with concentrations in Data Science and UX and minoring in Business. Outside of CMUNC, she is an engagement manager for Cornell Consult Your Community, the President of Cornell Open Orchestra, a member of Women in Computing at Cornell, and part of Cornell’s club field hockey team and ski & snowboard club. A fun fact is that Maïté speaks French and Portuguese, and last semester, she studied abroad in Amsterdam! During her free time, Maïté really enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends, and skiing. Blair Blackshaw
Blair Blackshaw is a junior from New York City double majoring in Economics and Government in Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences. She has been doing MUN since freshman year of high school. Outside of MUN, Blair is involved with Consent Education at Cornell. During her free time, Blair enjoys singing, hanging out with friends, and watching Formula One. Eddie Elliott
Eddie Elliott is a junior from Manlius, New York, studying History. Though you might think CMUNC would be the only thing he does at Cornell, he also is a research assistant in the Government Department, works for the Introductory Computer Science course, and frets about his grade in Elementary Spanish. While his favorite thing to do is work on this conference, Eddie also loves baking, bowling and spikeball. He can be found on campus editing Wikipedia, waterfall hunting, and staring at the sky in wonder at the world we live in. Eddie can’t wait to help make CMUNC stellar! Dani Bhashyam
Dani Bhashyam is a senior from Albany, New York, and is in the College of Engineering studying Biomedical Engineering. Outside of CMUNC and the Cornell International Affairs Society, he is a part of Jiang Lab, where he is diving into research on lipid nanoparticles to deliver RNA. He is also involved in Science Olympiad at Cornell and Cornell EMS. Dani is a massive soccer fan, and loves to watch and discuss the beautiful game with others. Aheed Karim
Aheed Karim is a senior from Pakistan double majoring in Government and Near Eastern Studies with a minor in History at the College of Arts and Sciences. On campus, he’s actively involved with the International Students Advisory Board, the Cornell International Affairs Society, the Cornell Global Business Club as an analyst, a Humanities Scholar, and a campus tour guide. He’s excited to bring his three years of experience with CMUNC to the table, answer any questions delegates may have about Cornell, and make this conference truly unforgettable in his final year. Under-Secretary Generals
Avinash Aravind
Avinash Aravind is a sophomore from Central New Jersey, and is studying Atmospheric Science. He has participated in Model UN for the last four years, and this is his first year on the CMUNC secretariat. Outside of CIAS, he is runs weather forecast discussions as part of the Cornell Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, tackles earth science projects on the CU GeoData engineering project team, and helps direct events for Science Olympiad at Cornell. Avinash is an avid Formula One fan and spends his time tracking the weather, reading Wikipedia, and has recently been getting into both bowling and 3D printing. He can be reached at usg@cmunc.net.
Linnea Nordman
Linnea Nordman is a junior from Michigan majoring in Government, with interests in foreign policy and data science. This is her second time being involved in CMUNC. Linnea has participated in MUN since middle school, and currently works as a director for the National High School Model United Nations conference in New York City this March. In her free time, she loves reading (she worked at a library for 5 years!) and any type of crafting. She loves traveling and going to MUN conferences, as well as participating in events throughout the year as an Alumni member with the National Security Language Initiative for Youth program. She also likes trying out new cafes and studying/reading with a latte. Linnea is excited to see the variety and creativity displayed in each committee, and cannot wait for this year’s conference! Nila Ganesh
Nila Ganesh is a freshman from Manlius, New York, studying Government in the College of Arts & Sciences. She has been involved with MUN since her freshman year of high school. Outside of CMUNC and the Cornell International Affairs Society, Nila is involved in the 2028 Class Council and is also a member of the Cornell Chorus. In her free time, she loves hanging out with friends, listening to music, and indulging in the various cafes across campus. She is very excited to meet everyone and have an enjoyable time at CMUNC 2025!
Heather Kwon
Heather Kwon is a freshman from Seoul, South Korea studying Economics and History. She has been involved in MUN since freshman year of high school and is looking to pursue a career in law. Outside of CMUNC and CIAS, she is involved with the Undergraduate International Law Review and Cornell Undergraduate Economics Review. Beyond academics, she enjoys cooking, exploring new music, bowling, and working on puzzles. She is looking forward to a fruitful conference, and can’t wait to meet you all at CMUNC!
Ria Mueller
Ria Mueller is a freshman from Westchester, New York, studying Economics and Government in the College of Arts and Sciences. Outside of CMUNC and the Cornell International Affairs Society, she is an editor for The Cornell Diplomat, a teacher for TASSEL Cambodia, and a member of the Cornell Chamber Orchestra. She also loves skiing, traveling, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Ria is looking forward to CMUNC 2025 and cannot wait for a great conference!
Madeline Rose
Madeline Rose is a freshman from Long Island, New York studying Industrial and Labor Relations. Outside of CMUNC and the Cornell International Affairs Society, she is involved with the Engineers in Action project team, Cornell Alzheimer’s Buddies, and Open Orchestra at Cornell. During her free time, Madeline enjoys crocheting, hanging out with friends, and lifting. She is so excited to see you all at CMUNC 2025!
