IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FACULTY ADVISORS

When reserving rooms, be sure to say that you are booking for the Cornell Model United Nations Conference and ask to be connected to the hotel's Sales Department. Make your reservation with that operator, not the standard front desk. If you do not do this, you will not benefit from the CMUNC hotel discount and may be told that there are no rooms available. You must book through the Sales Department to access these specially reserved rooms. Please contact the Director of Operations with any hotel questions.

Schools are responsible for reserving their own hotel accommodations. CMUNC has blocked rooms at each of these hotels at a discounted rate. While the conference has blocked approximately enough rooms for the conference, schools should reserve their rooms as far in advance as possible to ensure their top choice and discount rate. CMUNC encourages schools to stay in one of these hotels as we will not be providing bus service from other hotels to campus or other hotels. The only hotel within reasonable, safe walking distance of campus is the Statler Hotel located directly on campus.

For International Delegations

CMUNC is thrilled to receive international students every year and annually hosts several delegations from abroad. Please ensure you comply with U.S. Immigration regulations. Remember, all visa information is subject to change and must be confirmed with the U.S. Department of State.

Visas

Visitors from countries participating in the visa waiver program do not require a visa. Others should apply for a B-2 (pleasure/tourist) visa from the U.S. Department of State, or your nearest U.S. Consulate. General visa questions should be directed to the U.S. Department of State. Letters confirming that your school's delegates are registered to attend the conference may be required. If so, please contact our Director-General.
